Next time you think about booking a hotel, make sure you’re getting a complimentary breakfast. Not only that, make sure the breakfast includes more than a box of stale donuts and burnt coffee. A new website Free Breakfast Hotels was launched this month is taking all the legwork out of finding out just what kind of breakfast hotels are offering.
So far they have researched over 200 hotels and painstakingly annoted all the breakfast items. According to an industry specialist, some of the information is not even available to the corporate offices of many of these hotels. This is what makes the service so unique and valueable.
The company was started by two internet entrepeneurs who have been personally collecting the information about the meals.
“I try to be as thourough as thorough as possible, collecting the exact items included in the breakfast, what the hours are and even if they have other services such as free shuttles. Many times I come up with really unique deals like a hotel with their own breakfast chef! This adds real value to the data.”

The company expects to be done collecting all the breakfast information from more than 55 thousand hotels by mid-2006.
