Open Press Room

I recently switched OpenPressRoom.com to become an open article submission website. I figured this would be a great opportunity to build content and webmasters to link drop in their articles.

The only thing I asked is that the articles be original content (not found elsewhere on the Internet) and not a pure sales pitch. Ex: Buy my product, buy my stuff, buy it, it is a great deal! The article has to be newsworthy at least in some part.

So far since switching to this Open Source Article Submission, I have had about 20 articles submitted. I approved 2 so far and basically they were crap.

Come on webmasters! Do you guys want a nice backlink to improve your search engine results or not? Submit something that isn’t pure crap!

Now I can see why most websites are always languishing at the bottom of the SERPS. It is pure laziness.
