Green Real Estate Education is here.

For Immediate Release:

Kerry Mitchell, President of Green Real Estate Education states “The new world of green can turn around our markets and for under $100, with our certification and our instructional strategy, we teach our real estate professionals hands how to market green and how to revisit their farm markets.” Ms. Mitchell a 15 year veteran says “Those in the real estate industry need to learn how to make proper recommendations to lower utility bills, improve indoor air quality and help lower greenhouse gas emissions.”
The company, located in Pikesville, Md., has now trained close to 3500 professionals encompassing 15 states. Ms. Mitchell says, “We are not in a hurry to do go on line as the classroom delivery is very powerful and extremely well received.” These “green building” educational courses are gaining approval for continuing education credits across the country and are on target to educate over 20,000 in the real estate industry. The Green Building for Home Inspectors course is approved by ASHI, NAHI and NACHI and will be taught at the 2008 NAHI conference in September in Philadelphia Green Real Estate Education has received the 2007 Promising Practice Award from Sustainable Florida. Ms. Mitchell continues,”A company who certifies their agents with our “green leadership” course will be branded immediately as leaders. The industry is in a perfect position to accept our first level of the series as an important addition to their agents qualifications. As a 14+ year veteran of the industry, I know the Realtor mindset. Ms Mitchell feels the agent has little interest in the inner workings of how these “green” systems work. They want something brought to the table to turn around their markets. In fact, she says “too much information could be more to misrepresent and get into legal problems which all brokers need to avoid. Their site posts the training schedule and the company now has 5 instructors serving the educational needs of the industry. They teach members of associations and for private companies such as DreamTown in Chicago, Coldwell Banker and Long and Foster.
